Not stopping some bots

    Hello,

    Although this plugin stated it stopped “The Knowledge AI” 205 times it was able to trawl my website with IP: 66.160.140.184 well over a 1000 times.

    Why would this happen?

    Hi,

    Our plugin protect only WordPress files. Check if you have non WordPress pages or files.

    We show to them a blank page with status 403. Then, this can save a lot of bandwidth and don’t let them steal your content. Sometimes bad bots can try to open a lot of pages same time and maybe your log system record this attempts many times. They try to create a chaos.

    Check also which pages they are trying to open. If is login. xml and so on, try our free plugin Anti Hacker.

    I believe they will give up from your site, because they are unable to steal your content and got a lot of 403. But, who knows?

    That is all we can do. You can also try to report them to https://www.blocklist.de for free. Then, blocklist.de will report to they hosting company. Sometimes this can make they stop.
