    Please take a look at my side bar i have followed the steps but not working as expected

    Hi, when you activate the option “Hide icons to expand / collapse categories. (The link will be used to expand / collapse categories)”,
    and you want to keep collapsed the categories, you have to activate the option “collaps categories”.
