• I am using WordPress.com at the moment, but the limitations in it got me to switch to a regular host. I am using a free host, L4RGE.com, and installing WordPress 2.6.1 there got me two problems.
    1. White screen of death; but I realized this only happens in FF, and until it’s fixed, I can handle it.
    2. My bigger problem, which is that it doesn’t show any posts. Going to the blog main page or a post permalink will simply cause it to say “Sorry, no posts matched your criteria.”
This is a big problem, since, well, I wanna show my posts!
The posts DO exist in the database, and the dashboard does show them as exist, but trying to either edit or list them in the dashboard or simply list or read them in the blog itself, both emdo not work/em.

Any help on this would be appreciated. I turned to the L4RGE.com support group and they said it isn’t a problem on their side. So the only other side is WordPress software itself. Thanks in advance!

Yeah, sorry, I forgot to put it there,I was going to.

If you want, I can set up a temporary admin account in the blog for you to look in the admin panel as well.

I, too, am having trouble getting wordpress to work properly on L4rge.com.

I have a wordpress blog set up on another host and it works, but L4rge is another story. I don’t buy that there is something wrong with wordpress not working, I think it’s on the end of the host.

There is an option to install wordpress directly from L4rge. If you go into your cPanel and scroll to the bottom, there is button that says “Site Software”. Clicking that brings you to a page with the option to install WordPress – but in my experience it doesn’t do ANYTHING.

Perhaps you can try your luck. If nothing else works, hopefully somebody on here can bring us the fix.

I tried that before the manual install, and it didn’t work either. Grr. I’ll get back to their support on that I guess.

Not really. And when I said I’ll go back to their support their server was down >< I’ll try again now.
