the woocommerce chekout page shows only one shipping zone even if I set two different zones: the shipping zone dispayed on the checkout page is the one put at the beginning of the list of the woocommerce shipping zone settings.
The consequence is that the customer cannot select between the two option.
The problem is not related to the address parameters of the customer since both the shipping zones have the same region setting (italy)

    Hi there,

It sounds like there might be some misunderstanding on how shipping zones work. By default, the shipping zone chosen on the checkout page is based on the billing/shipping address entered by the customer.

In the event that the billing/shipping address matches two or more zones configured under **WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping**, then only the *first* one (i.e. the top one) will be used. In that sense, shipping zones should be absolutely unique in terms of the regions they match (i.e. There should only be one shipping zone for the “Italy” region).

    Dear Riaan,

Thank you very much for the explanation, now everything is clear.

I have some doubts about the following request considering what you stated.
I would kindly ask you how can i set the following shipping option (if possible):

    1) a customer ordering from everywhere in Italy (i.e. from Milan, Rome, etc.) could see only the “takeaway” option

    2) a customer ordering from specific postalcodes in Italy, could see both the “takeaway” and the “delivery/shipping” options
    is that possibile?

Thank you again for you support

    Hi @born2digital,

    Thanks for getting back.

To enforce shipping method restrictions like the ones you’ve stated above (shipping methods shown based on country or zip codes), you’d be based using a plugin such as Conditional Shipping and Payments.

    I hope this helps.
