    Hi!

Can you send us a link to the collection you created?

If you do not want to share the link publicly, use one of the contact methods you can find on our website: https://picu.io/support/

Thanks for taking a look at it, just realized I probably seemed abrupt.

    No worries. ??

    1. Do you use any caching plugins?
    2. Do you have plugins installed, that change image handling in WordPress? (Some gallery plugins might interfere with image loading.)

If possible, deactivate those plugins and check if picu works.

If you can provide a list of all the plugins you use, we can debug from our end as well.

Again: You may also send this info to [email protected].

I have the same problem on a freshly new wordpress account. When I upload a few images (4-5) everything is fine. But when I uploaded 166 photographs (total of 20 MB) , there is a blank page. I tried it twice and it’s not working.

Regarding the e-mail, it is only sending the email to the client, I did not receive a notification for the images the client selected.

    Hey zdword,

can you send me a link to your collection?

Also: Are you on the latest version? (0.7.4)

Pretty sure I found what’s causing it. It is a kind of embarrassing bug on our end. ??

It should work, once you remove the quotes around the word “Save” in your collection description.

Please confirm, if the collection is then correctly displayed.

It works, I removed the quotes and it works. wow that was really fast fix.
btw, do you know why I don’t get back the email notification from the client?
When I send out the gallery the notification is sent out normally.

We’ll have that fixed asap, so that you should be able to use any kind of character (even quotes!) in your collection descriptions. ??

    About the missing email:

    • Does the collection author (the user you are logged in as, when creating the collection) have a valid email set? (You can check, when you edit your profile.)
    • Have you checked your spam folder?

I am hosting my website on namecheap.com and using wordpress
I found the problem was with the mail setup.
I’ve used the plugin Postman that supports Gmail API with OAuth 2.0 authentication and now it works perfectly. Hope that might hep with anyone else facing the same problem.

Thanks for posting your solution. Much appreciated. ??

Hm, it seems that it’s not sending out the e-mails to client now.
My text doesn’t contain any special characters. Just letters.

Although it sends out the notification of approvals.

    Postman log shows:

Invalid Message From e-mail address “Admin < [email protected]

On my website, I have an Enquiry Form, and the e-mail is sent ok.

Hi, I’m the author of Postman. The plugin has detected a malformed From address. The From address from pico should be:

    Admin <[email protected]>

    Not:

    Admin < [email protected]

As a quick fix, you can tick Prevent plugins and themes from changing this in Advanced Settings > Message > Message From > Email Address.

Thank you Jason, yeah it seems there is a syntax error with picu. But I don’t know why this wasn’t happening earlier , since I was using version 0.7.4 a few hours ago and it was working. Am I doing something wrong?
