• Hello.

Nice little tool. But when adding a file there are some things to iimprove:
    1) It shows by far not all files from my mediathek, e.g. i have some pdfs there, they don’t show up in the list
    2) please show also the file extension. Reason: i have some swf in my mediathek and a corresponding jpg which will be shown on the page. I don’t know which file is which type as both are named the same but are not recognizable without the extension
    3) Test and if needed, adopt to 4.2.2

    Thanks in advance

    Kai

I will investigate further your issue regarding some PDFs are not showing as I don’t see this issue on my end.

Also, thank you for suggestions. I will surely add them in the next release.

This tool works and tested in 4.2.2.

PDF are only an example it has nothing to do with the extension.

Unfortunately i have approx 1300 files in my uploads-folder and as mentioned some are having the same name but another extension.
Therefore it would be helpful in the first step to see the extension (or filetype or anything helpful) when opening the list of files.

What i see when adding a download-link is this

This is by far less then all the files i have ??

    Found something out:

When selecting “All Media Library Files” it shows only files from my library which are not associated to any post or page.
When selecting “Attached to post/pages” it shows all of my files.

    But still without extension.

And additionally a search field would be nice. Or even better: just use the same dialog which appears when adding a file to a normal post….
