Not show Products in Instagram
-
Hello!
I have uploaded new products to my Woocommerce and it doesn’t show them on Instagram. I see on the product page that the error is because the item descriptions are in capital letters. This is not true, but I have no way to change it or fix it.
The error is “The product description is in all caps. Please change the description to lowercase to allow synchronisation of your product”.
Can you help me?
A big hug and thank you very much,
Borja

Hi @hipoglucido
I have uploaded new products to my Woocommerce and it doesn’t show them on Instagram. I see on the product page that the error is because the item descriptions are in capital letters. This is not true, but I have no way to change it or fix it.
Have you added your Instagram account to your Business Manager?
The error is “The product description is in all caps. Please change the description to lowercase to allow synchronisation of your product”.
May I know which product that triggered that error?
Please share the link to the product on your website.
Look forward to your reply.
Hello again,
Yes of course, I have had the plugin installed for more than 2 years.
Everything worked perfectly and indexed the products without any problem on Instagram.
I don’t know what could have happened because I haven’t touched anything on the website.
I appreciate your help,
A big hug and thank you very much,

A link to the product would also be helpful for us to take a look at!We look forward to hearing from you.
Hello,
I’m sorry but I don’t feel very confident pasting all this data in an open thread.
I see that the problem lies in all Woocommerce products, not only in the ones I have recently created but the error is present in all products, even in the oldest ones.
What’s more, the oldest ones are still displayed on IG and have this error. The product I uploaded this week is not displayed and has the same error.
This did not happen 15 – 20 days ago. It is something recent.
A big hug and thank you very much,
Borja
Could this be it? In other words, could I be missing something to associate with the account?
I attach a screenshot of my website:
https://ibb.co/Y2cBRM2Thank you!
The product is this:
https://www.mooquer.com/ropa-de-ciclismo/calcetines-de-ciclismo-termicos-skull-cooper/This only happens in product variations. The bug says that every size/colour variation in Woocommerce has the description in capital letters (not true) and can’t sync it.
Approx. 10 days ago there was no problem with this.
Regards and thanks,
The same thing has happened to me for two weeks, it does not sync on Facebook and Instagram. I have fixed it by lowering the attributes and article names. This is how it resynchronizes (sometimes, you have to force the article edit by resetting the Facebook meta data).
Before I had everything in capital letters and it worked perfectly. It could be from the last WordPress update and the last plugin update.
Sorry for my poor english

A esperar.
@hipoglucido He mirado tu enlace. Tienes los atributos de talla en mayúsculas. Entra dentro de tu atributo de talla, y cámbialos a minúsculas. Creo que así si te insertaría en Facebook e Insta. Por probar no pierdes nada.
Hello @hipoglucido
Thanks for your messages!
I understand your worries, but the System Status Report does not include any type of sensitive information. It will help us understand your site a bit better.
That being said, the suggestion from @peliqueiro could work. I would recommend checking the following documentation from Facebook on possible causes
https://woocommerce.com/document/facebook-for-woocommerce/
Facebook does not accept products with capital letters only titles.
Once the product title, try a new sync.
Let us know if this works!
Hello and thank you very much,
I don’t know if the problem is with the plugin or with Facebook.
I have read all the documentation and in the possible errors:
The product description is in capital letters.
– The product description should not be only in capital letters.
The product description is too long. The maximum allowed length is 5000 characters.
– The product description is too long
The product title is in capital letters.
– The product description should not be in upper case only.None is applicable to our case.
The problem of @peliqueiro and mine (I understand that of many more people) is that until 15 days ago everything worked correctly and now the plugin says that it cannot synchronise with facebook because we have variable product titles with everything in capital letters.
This is a lie, we don’t have any product with all capital letters. In any case, we have the first letter in the description and in the title of the product as Facebook says it should be. In other words, it is correct.
There is obviously something wrong. Either on the part of Facebook or on the part of the plugin.
Thanks for the support and understanding. This happening before Black Friday is a disaster for users.

Here is the problem and the solution:
15 days ago and for years now, when you upload a variable product you don’t need to fill in anything in DESCRIPTION.
Now, the problem is that this field is blank (I don’t know why this is a problem).
I have tried to add text to the variation of the size S and that’s it, the plugin doesn’t generate this problem anymore.
However, it generates a usability problem on the website because it adds a very ugly bottom label on the product page.
Any solution admin?
