• A client recently moved their email hosting to Google Apps. Their email was previously hosted with their web hosting and the forms worked fine.

But since migrating to Gmail, the forms are no longer are delivered to any of their Gmail hosted email addresses?

The forms send to my email as a BCC, so forms are working. And no errors are given on form submission. And no syntax errors.

It’s just they are no longer receiving the emails? How do I troubleshoot this?

  • We’re also having this same problem with one of our clients. I’ll keep you posted if we figure out a solution.

We solved this issue for our client by going into the “Mx Entry” tool in the cPanel, selecting the domain from the Domain dropdown, and selecting “Remote Mail Exchanger” and clicking “Change”.

We also added the Google server MX Records but that does not seem to be necessary as they should be set on the Google Apps side or the email wouldn’t be working. The most important part is setting “Remote” vs. “Local”.

Not sure if this will fix your issue, but it’s worth a try.

    Good luck!

Yes I saw this fix posted elsewhere too. I made the changed to ‘Remote’, but it hasn’t solved our issue unfortunately.
