I have your forms on three separate websites. One is launching today and I quadruple tested the email forms 2 days ago and all were fine. Today, the forms on all three sites aren’t sending me notifications. I can see them under the entry captures on the back end, but no emails to me. All my other forms (contact 7, divi general) are working.

I have checked spam and have them going to two emails (yahoo and gmail)

Any suggestions? I love your forms and don’t want to switch to contact form 7.

It’s on three sites, but NorthIdahoLogHomes.com is one of them where the situation is happening.

For some reason it is working now. I didn’t do anything on my side, so I’m not sure what happened, but I’m getting the notifications from all four websites I have the plugin on. I saw that you sent a test contact form on one of the sites, so if you did something to make it work, thank you. I really prefer your forms over the competition and I definitely want to keep using them.

Did you update to the latest version?

I did, but after the plugin was working on the site. I have it on four different sites and it’s working on all four now, but only updated on one.

Personally I think this is an intermittent problem that may be grey listing or server related.

I added a Reply-To option for the mailer. Using the senders name and email as the form sender can and will lead to blocks. since the email then says this person sent it but the sending server is not the persons email server. this raises flags. The from name and email should be associated to the server. Use the new reply-to field for the senders email. this way the email is “clean”.

the rely-to field will be available in the next update coming later today.

It’s definitely intermittent since they were all working for a few days and then yesterday they stopped again. Unfortunately I had to switch to another plugin on all but one website. It doesn’t get much activity and since I can check manually for new email, it’s worth it to have your superior form fields and layout since it’s a 4 page form.

Love your plugin and will definitely try the reply-to upgrade as I think it sounds like it might help the issue.

    Thanks again…

No problem. I fully understand. I made changes to the new version today that does mailer debug logging. This I hope will find the problems if they are truly in the mailer.
