Not sending forms anymore, spining endlessly

  • Bug is pretty new, dunno when it starterd but things worked fine a month ago for sure.

    Every form behave the same way on site pages/posts (as in https://www.cwowd.com/contact-us/)
    FF webdev console gives this error :

    Error: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: {"code":"rest_no_route","message":"Aucun itin\u00e9raire n\u2019a \u00e9t\u00e9 trouv\u00e9 correspondant \u00e0 l\u2019URL et \u00e0 la m\u00e9thode de requ\u00eate","data":{"status":404}}

    and i’m totally puzzled ??

  • 1. Try de-activating all the other plugins but not the CF7
    2. Trying switching to default wp theme
    3. Try updating cf7 plugin files.

    I’m having the same issue – resetting and deactivating plugins hasn’t worked so far. Looking forward to hearing some more ideas!

    site is active and running with forums. Can’t really shutdown every plugin (using a lot of them!) and theme, plus minification etc. That’d require almost a full day off ??

    Can you then create replica of your website on your server, on sub-domain/sub-directory.?
    There you can relate the issue and perform anything.

    I’ve tried SMTP plugins too incase it’s a mail server issue but nothing is working right now ??

    Hi all, the new version of plugin doesn’t include anymore some jquery plugin.
    Some theme can use such functions as jQuery easing plugin.
    So, maybe, you need to add to your theme the reference to this js file.
    So I did and i solved the problem.

    -Have your tried switching to basic Wp theme(Twentysixteen, seventeen any )?
    -You can try to shoot a simple mail using php mail function.
    -Is SMTP plugin is able to send test mail? Can you please try this? https://prntscr.com/gkxwoq

    It’s still not working for me, I’m afraid. Although I’ve noticed the SMTP plugin test emails fail too now so this might not be a Contact Form 7 issue for me!

    Switching to basic theme changed nothing (except for breaking some other stuffs^^).
    Tried Easy WP SMTP. Could not send anything, same problem : spinning and spinning and spinning again… for ever ?

    nope, not using it.

    indeed, was on No encryption for smtp test (spinning). Now on SSL, and got a
    SMTP connect() failed.

    Sounds like I still have the same trouble as you, @thierrytregaro
