Not sending emails to more than 3 users or groups

  • Hi i’m having an issue were emails are not been send when i select more than 3 users or any group, tried the debug mode and i can see that the 31 current users are being BCC, checked with my hosting and there is in fact a bcc limit of 100, same that i have not yet reach.

    if i select a group or 4+ i do see the message than the email was sent but the recipients don’t get the email, it works if i sent the email to every single user a at a time.

    A couple thoughts here:

    1. If you can send to one user then the plugin’s interaction with your hosting provider’s email subsystem is working, this is key.
    2. To the plugin there is a SIGNIFICANT difference between one (1) recipient and any more than one (1) recipient. Can you confirm if it is working for 1-3 recipients but not 4+ recipients?
    3. When in debug mode, do you see anything different between the BCC header with 2-3 recipients (BCC is not used when there is only one recipient, the TO header is used in that case) versus 4+ recipients?
    4. Is it possible you have a “bad” email address which is corrupting the email header when using the full group? I’ve seen this a couple times but not recently.

    2.- yes i have testes creating user with different email addresses, targeting myself
    3.-BBC is use when i select more than 1 user
    4.-i double checked this all addresses are valid

    any other though would be appreciate it, i really like your plug in, but for some reason is not fully working for me

    Try setting the BCC limit to 3 and see if it works.

    Hi i im not allowed to set the limit to 3 is not on the dropdown of the settings page

    Sorry for the delay on this, it slipped off my radar screen while I was traveling for work.

    In the v4.8.0-beta-3 update I have added some new BCC options (2, 3, 5) to help debug your problem.

    4.8.0 is released and has the new BCC settings as noted above.
