• Hello

This is very problematic. Emails are not going through, and no confirmation or error. Luckily I use the email 2, to send a copy to the sender. And some people noticed they were missing.

I have more than 200+ consultants relying on these forms, and waiting for an answer. But the emails are no where to be find. LUCKILY I have installed ‘Flamingo’, so I have the data there. But that is very problematic, as I have to tjek the data constantly for 55 forms, and then send the data to the right person, so they can process it, and then answer the consultant in another platform …

This is not the fist time I try this. Latest in March.
*note that it is sporadic, both when, and different forms, and different consultants. That’s why it is almost impossible to detect the error/bug.

What is happening? And can you help?

    /Sheila

  • hi @sheilanana
it’s been a while since we’ve heard from you!

unfortunately without being able to test I can only assume that your server is having problems sending emails…. usually this is not really related to Contact Form 7 but of the way wp delivers email, you probably need to switch from php mailer to smtp.

    To try….
Do you get emails from WordPress (updates, password change, etc.)? You can do a test for example with login/forget password. That way we will know if at least wp can send emails.

Another possible reason is that sometimes emails sent with php mailer are rejected by your mail server… try setting another email address as the destination. (also this problem can be fixed relying on smtp server)

Let me know if there is any improvement in these ways!
