• Today I updated wordpress and then tested Postman SMTP as configured with Contact Form 7. However, the messages aren’t aren’t sending.

    Looking at the email log, this issue has been persisting for over a week, and so doesn’t seem to be related to updating wordpress.

    The email log shows the error “Bad Request(invalid_grant)”

    Emails are set to be sent from a gmail account

    In trying the Postman SMTP setup wizard, the following error returns when trying to connect:

    An unexpected error occurred {
    “readyState”: 4,
    “responseText”: “<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC \”-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN\”>\n<html><head>\n<title>500 Internal Server Error</title>\n</head><body>\n<h1>Internal Server Error</h1>\n<p>The server encountered an internal error or\nmisconfiguration and was unable to complete\nyour request.</p>\n<p>Please contact the server administrator at \n root@localhost to inform them of the time this error occurred,\n and the actions you performed just before this error.</p>\n<p>More information about this error may be available\nin the server error log.</p>\n</body></html>\n”,
    “status”: 500,
    “statusText”: “Internal Server Error”
    }

    I don’t have much insight into these issues, so any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you

  • How sad! I had same problem since 7 days ago.

    The worst case is I missed new customer inquiries. But able to retrieve from the logs.

    Anyone aware of this?

    Will be good if developer add an option to alert at backend status widget if the mail logged error.
