The ‘new order mail confirmation’ is not sent after placing the order. The Scheduled Actions log states that the mail was sent with the comment “action complete via Async Request”, but received nothing.

When I click “Resend new order notification” in the back office, the mail is sent. The Scheduled Actions log says “action complete via WP Cron”. I would say Asyns request is not working; WP cron does work.

Do I run all mail through WP Cron? Or how do I get Asyns to work?

    Thanks a lot

I am having the same issue, my customers all complaining about not receiving the new order notification. What is the solution? I am running woocommerce 5.0.0 and my website is movingon.co.za

    Hi @izaken!

WooCommerce uses the default mailing feature in WordPress, which relies on the wp_mail() function to process mails — core itself doesn’t do the processing.

If emails are not being sent or received, then it’s likely an issue with the email function on your web server

Please work through the recommended troubleshooting steps in the documentation below and see if that helps:

    Hi @izaken,

We’ve not heard back from you in a while, so I’m marking this thread as resolved. Hopefully, you were able to find a solution to your problem!

If you have further questions, please feel free to open a new topic.

    Thanks.

@izaken FYI i have discovered that my email settings may have changed since the last update, I see that processing order, which is sent after payment is received was not enabled. I have just enabled it, I hope that will work. I am also using the mail poet plug in to monitor my emails, and there it’s clear that my customers are not being sent any mails. Hope this helps you!!
