    Hey @saveatrain,

    I checked out your site.
I saw a lot of javascript errors in the console.
So it looks like some of your plugins are messing up the javascript engine, which is the reason for my button to show up.

The best way to figure it out is:
    – disable all plugins, except for my plugin and check if the button works now
    – re-enable the plugins, one by one and find out which one causes the problem

    Keep me posted,
    Rolf

these are the errors you are referring to?

is your plugin defendant on JQ Migrate?

    @saveatrain:
As far as I know my plugin is not dependent on JQ Migrate…

    Thread Starter saveatrain

    (@saveatrain)

as you can see addthis and other plugins are working.

what do you think can be the cause for your plugin not to work?

    Plugin Author cageehv

    (@cageehv)

Maybe the popup plugin or the cache?
I don’t know what other plugins you are using…

    Thread Starter saveatrain

    (@saveatrain)

what can i send you to investigate this further please?
    since the popup is working

    (@cageehv)

    Just follow my first suggestion…
    Disable all but mine.
Re-enable them one by one and see where it goes wrong.

    (@saveatrain)

    i did something else

    i installed BOTH:
    1. To Top
    2. WPFront Scroll Top

and both are working on the admin, but not on the site

do you know maybe what is the thing that all are probably trying to activate that fails?

    Plugin Author cageehv

    (@cageehv)

It just confirms some other plugin is messing up Javascript…

    For the last time:
    “Just follow my first suggestion…
    Disable all but mine.
Re-enable them one by one and see where it goes wrong.”
    Why is that so hard?

    Thread Starter saveatrain

    (@saveatrain)

because i have 34 plugins, and i already disabled the 4 I installed in the past several days.

but I have another thinking, that maybe a code snipper the programmer made, is disturbing this button….

True, your theme also can be the problem…
