Not seeing custom field option under screen options

  • I’d like to turn on display of custom fields in the post editor but I’m not seeing the option to turn it on under screen options. Is this a function of the theme?

    There are several meta fields used in the theme (for header settings etc)
    but no, these fields that you mention should still be available.
