What do you call “secondary sublevel pages”?

Now that I’ve dug into the issue further, many articles, posts, and media did not move over (forget I mentioned sublevel pages). I’m ssing the premium version, K2 add-ons, I increased my WP Memory limits, but still cannot get everything into WP backend.

    Any ideas or help?

Did you get an error message? A blank screen?
Did you get the results at the end of the import?

Got the success screen that listed categories, pages, imported, etc… The only error messages referred to a couple external media files that couldn’t be found. Everything media wise appears to have made it to my server, but not wp media library. No clue what’s up here.

Basically, we’ve got around 500 pages and are only getting 119 on import. Re ran multiple times after wiping content out. Changed settings, bought add-ons, just getting the same pages. Lots missing.

Please send me your Joomla database. I’ll try to see what’s wrong.

Any word on the fix for this? I’m getting the same thing. Joomla has 1299 articles, and only 997 imported.

Only error messages I saw were for media, but i don’t that’s a problem.

Just found another support forum message saying we can just hit import again and it’ll just restart from where it may have stopped? This may be the answer if its just a php/memory timeout.

    Aaron,

It’s definitely possible to run the importer multiple times. For me, this issue revolved around the setting I checked for importing external media. It appears that if there’s too much external media to import, the importer times out and the articles don’t make it.

I ran it dozens of times trying to get everything into WP, but it didn’t work until I wiped all WP content and reran the importer without the option checked for “Import External Media”.

Note: I tried running the importer with the “Import External Media” button unchecked following the previous partial imports, but it didn’t finally work until I deleted all WP content and ran importer again.

    Hope this helps.
