Not seeing a rename field

does the rename field appear neither in the media list nor on the single media page?

I have the same issue. Installed and Activated plugin, but rename field is nowhere to be fount. Neither on Media page, nor on single media. it is like plugin is not installed at all.

It works when I switch Media to grid view.
While in icon view (which is default) renaming is not available.

WordPress shows bulk actions only in list view, so it not possible to add custom bulk actions to grid view.

I do not need bulk, just single file rename.

Even for single rename is needed support for bulk actions, but you can rename a single file from the media edit page.
