Not scrolling to right spot first click

  • Hi, I have been reviewing your support for a while now. I am experiencing a common problem, the first click goes to the wrong spot on the home page and the second click works. I think it is an element loading that is throwing me off and I can’t figure out what it is. Can you have a look at the site. https://www.chambreclaire.ca

    It goes to the wrong spot the first time.
    It goes to the right spot the second time.
    Linking from another page (Client galleries) it goes to the wrong spot.
    It all goes to the right spot on mobile.

    Can you help?

    Hello,

    I can re-create the issue only from/to another page, e.g. when going to “CLIENT GALLERIES” and then clicking “PORTRAITS”. When I’m in your homepage, clicking “PORTRAITS”, “OTHER” etc. always scrolls to the “correct” position (first time, second time etc.).

    Since this happens from different pages, I’m assuming that some element(s) change position (margin, padding, height, top value etc.) after scrolling has started (I’m guessing because of a CSS animation that lasts few milliseconds).

    Try adding a “Scroll to location hash” delay by adding a small value like 200 or 300 in “Delay (milliseconds)” field in plugin settings.
