Not scrolling to id from different page

Hi, I have a homepage with sections all linked in the main menu which scrolls perfectly. The problem is if I go to another page and then click a link it doesnt go to the homepage and scroll to the section. I have put full paths example:https://mysite/#id and enabled the “Scroll to target id (e.g. <div id=”id” />) based on location hash (e.g. mysite.com/mypage#id) on page load” but its not working. You can see my problem on my site samdines.com, scroll down to a portfolio item, open one of those, then from there the about me button i want to jump to the homepage then scroll down to that section. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
