not saving changes

  • Hi everyone
    I am not a professional with WP and it seems to me too confusing. when I try to add a new post and after the first “save draft”, none of my changes will be saved. if I set a featured image, edit publish immediately, changes in text or anything else after saving all of them are gone.
    the enter between paragraph doesn’t work and I have to add <br> code in text format but after saving it is gone too.
    Finally, the most important one, when I edit snippet, nothing will be saved including meta title, slug and …

    Sorry to hear about the trouble you’re experiencing. I’ve been searching the forums and found some similar problems to yours and the following fixes were suggested.

    1) One of the first things to try would be deactivating all plugins (take a backup of your site first) temporarily to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate them one-by-one to find the problematic plugin(s).

    2) Clear your browser cache to rule out any issue there (see this site for browser specific steps)

    3) If the problem does not go away when you have deactivated plugins then switch to the default WordPress theme (currently this is Twenty Seventeen) to see if this resolves the issue.

    thank you for your prompt answer, honestly speaking before posting here, I googled the problem and exactly found what you said. my blog is non-English language and plugins are related to the language so I am afraid I can deactivate them.
    anyway, thank you so much for your help and please let me know if you find another solution.
