Not retrieving data

  • Hi

    I can’t seem to get the plugin to retrieve data from my sheet. It’s public and I’ve created a google sheet API, but nothing is happening.

    What I’m seeing in the Google Developer Console does not match your description. Is it possible that the process has changed since you wrote the guide? What are the correct steps now?

    I’m also not seeing the same options as you described to make the spreadsheet public.

    I’m hoping you can help me as the plugin seems perfect!

    Hi eivindeh,

    The current steps for the Google Developer Console part are as follows:

    1). Visit https://console.developers.google.com/
    2). Click on ‘Credentials’ in the left side menu.
    – If required, create a new project.
    3). Click on the blue ‘Create credentials’ button, then click ‘API key’.
    4). Click the ‘Close’ button.

    Also try the shortcode [dansheet cell=A1:E5] and see if that displays any data.

    I’m having a similar issue.

    The sheet has the setting “anyone with link can view”

    this is what I have in sheet ID:

    I have created two different api keys and tried with both.

    this is the call:

    Wordpress 4.8.5
    Divi theme 3.0.4.0
