Not restricting access to custom fields content

  • I have a custom post type with custom fields

    While the plugin gives me the option to restrict access to this CPT, all it does is replace the text that’s in the main post content field with “This content is restricted to subscribers” then happily displays all the content that’s in my custom fields (videos, downloads etc) which is the content that actually needs access restricting.

    I’m using Elementor to create my single CPT template and Jet Engine to create my custom post types and the fields thereof.

    What do I need to do to get this plugin to actually replace the complete content of the post with a “access restricted to members only” message?

    Normally RC will restrict Custom Post Types. How are you specifically trying to restrict? Are you restricting by taxonomy, or in a meta box in the post/page editing area or with RC shortcodes? When using a page builder sometimes RC can’t tell what to restrict depending upon how you implement the restriction.
