I installed configured and it ran OK
Someone with IPAD tried to use.
    Display all screwed up.
I ran the google responsive design test tool.
Says site not friendly, displayed garbage.
    I deactivated the plugin.
All back to normal, google test passed.
Is there a difference in the terms “mobile friendly” and “responsive design”?
Is there a setting I need to set?

The plugin is currently deactivated so you won’t see any issues with it.

    Hi @russromei,
It seems wpForo is damaged on your website, it’s conflicted by your theme. wpForo is supper mobile friendly and responsive. The UI/UX is fully functional and adaptive for any devices.

Please activate wpForo and leave a direct link to your forum to allow us check it.

When I checked it, wpForo plugin was disabled, so I have no answer for you. Please let us know when you enable it back.

Currently, wpForo is disabled on your website and I checked again. So it says your website is not Mobile Friendly. And wpForo has not any relation to that problem:

    @russromei
Google catch your website wrongly. I think this tools doesn’t work correctly. Something is wrong with this tool or with your website caching system. This is a cache plugin issue, or hosting service built-in cache issue. In any case this is your website or your hosting issue. But this is not wpForo issue.

Below you can see how different is the website view on Google tool and on real mobile devices. They are totally different. So the mobile friendly checker catch all wrong so it thinks the website is not mobile friendly.

I activated it, ran the test 4-5 times using different (http, https, www. etc) URLs and it passed each time.
I then logged in and clicked around, then ran the test, twice, failed both times
maybe if you click the topic then run the test it might fail

I hear you but this issue was reported by an Ipad user

    (@gvectors-team)

I’d ask you just forget about wpForo. I already explained you the issue. wpForo has no any relation to your website problem, the forum page cannot be correct, because the page is your website page and it’s already return bad result, it doesn’t matter the wpForo is loaded in that page or not. Just deactivate it and logout. Then try to find why your website is loaded incorrectly on google mobile tester. Follow to my posts above.

So, if I clear my WP site cache then?

    Plugin Author gVectors Team

    (@gvectors-team)

I think so, your hosting has some built-in cache or some plugin in your WP does incorrect things when Google Bot (tester) calls your website. The tester returns wrong information because when it accesses to your website it’s totally crashed. I see it on the tester view. This issue has no any chance to be related to wpForo. I can say it without any doubt.

You should disable all other plugins one by one, delete all caches after each plugin deactivation. And run test using private browser tabs.

If you don’t see changes, you should open a support topic in WordPress support forum or contact to your hosting support team.

    OK, cleared caching plugin cache
    seems to be ok now
I’ll check with my user next

    Thanks
