Since the recent update, I haven’t been able to get the code added to the footer field (for Google Analytics or ad networks) to stick. I don’t see a save button. I’ve tried in two different browsers.

The circular “working on” thingy (like Microsoft’s old hourglass) goes round and round endlessly and doesn’t resolve.

I have disabled the plugin, as it was getting costly to not have traffic from a hot post trigger the ad network script. Is there a way keep the plugin enabled AND have it recognize the code?

I use WP Super Cache and Wordfence and have followed the directions in the article “Configuring cache plugins for WPtouch.”

I would really like to be able to reenable the plugin and have it work as designed. It’s been awesome until recently.

  • It sounds like a component of your site may be blocking AJAX requests to the server, most likely WordFence. Please try switching its AJAX filtering to ‘learn’ mode, then reattempt the setting change in WPtouch. It should go through and WordFence should learn that those are legitimate requests.

You can then switch off WordFence’s ‘learn’ mode.

Thank you. What menu item will I go through in order to switch back to Learn mode? I haven’t been able to find it.

UPDATE: Firewall setting. Will give this a try.

That seems to have worked. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

    Glad to hear it!
