• Hi. I have just migrated (manually) my WP site from one (Zen) Cpanel account to another. First time I’ve done this. Mostly seems to be working ok, but when I come to edit pages…. an issue:
I can SEE the editing top sub bar and edit ANY page which is NOT one of the pages in the main header menu (which in my site are these pages: Whats on, Classes, Plays, Accolades, About.) But i can’t even see the editing sub bar (is that a word) (usually at top of page with:
word press symbol, Drop down dashboard option with my website name, paintbursh symbol, customise, +symbol, “New” (dropdown)…

ie. the top editing menu bar.

E.g. if I click on say “What’s On” (in main menu) i go to that page, yes, but the top bar that usually offers me editing options disappears.

Basically can’t even see an option to edit any of the pages (Whats on, Classes, Plays, Accolades, About.) in that main menu. But on every other page… happy editing. Not happened before migration.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • @jonathanbucket That’s strange… have you checked the setting in your WordPress profile has the admin bar checkbox ticked?

That sounds like there’s some sort of issue with your theme, like there’s an unclosed element or a PHP fatal error on those pages, preventing the rendering of the admin bar.
