The site has been both Google and Bing Verified in Webmaster Tools and Analytics and verification codes are entered in to the Yoast SEO plugin. Additionally the verification files are also in the root of the site.

In the Robots.txt file we have
    User-agent: *
    User-agent: Googlebot
    User-agent: bingbot
    Allow: /
    Allow: /wp-content/uploads/
    Allow: /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php
    Disallow: /wp-admin/
    Sitemap: https://www.positiveimpactreigroup.com/sitemap_index.xml

When doing a Google search on “Positive Impact REI Group” we see the following
Positive Impact REI Group – EDUCATION + TRAINING + COMMUNITY
    https://www.positiveimpactreigroup.com/
POSITIVE IMPACT Real Estate Investors Group, a group of Advanced, Intermediate, & Beginning Real Estate Investors in San Diego, Inland Empire, & Orange

    FOR BING, THE RESULT IS
    positiveimpactreigroup.com
    positiveimpactreigroup.com
We would like to show you a description here but the site won’t allow us.

FOR YAHOO, we see the OLD description from months ago
    Positive Impact REI Group: home
    https://www.positiveimpactreigroup.com/
POSITIVE IMPACT Real Estate Investors Group. Welcome and thank you for taking the first step in getting to know us! EDUCATION + TRAINING + COMMUNITY …

Is this an issue with the plugin? Shouldn’t Yahoo be getting information from BING and if so, why are they different? How can we correct this?

    Thanks!

If you have your site setup in Bing Webmaster Tools, you can force Bing to re-crawl a page by using the “Fetch as Bingbot” feature. You can use this feature to force Bing’s index to update. Learn more about Bing Webmaster Tools here: https://yoast.com/bing-webmaster-tools-diagnostics-tools/

Greetings Rumejan, This was done without any effect results. A change with Google was noticed within 24 hours, however Bing has not updated in 48.

I can not attach an image, however I have done the “Fetch as Bingbot” again and it said “Completed”. It then displayed the entire source code of the page in question without any errors or other messages.

I again raise the question as it was less then a few hours and Google picked up the changes in the SEO plugin right away, WITHOUT a Fetch. With Bing, I have now used the Webmaster Tools (Fetch as BingBot) Twice and still only see the

As another Measure, I also resubmitted the SiteMap to Bing. It has no reported errors and has has 0 effect as well with a desired outcome.

Any other suggestions, or has anyone else seen that BING is unresponsive to changes with the Yoast SEO Plugin.
