• Something — not a plugin —?is calling Quantcast on my site. I tried this plugin in all its modes (normal, forced, etc. + blacklist/whitelist) but it was unable to block the Quantcast script from loading.

I have no idea where it’s coming from… I disabled all plugins and it’s still there. Running a WooThemes theme.

Hi peter-a; there are some ways a plugin or theme could load quantcast (or other … stuff) without donottrack being able to stop it.

What you could do (if you’re in whitelist mode) is open up /wp-content/plugins/wp-donottrack/wp-donottrack.php and remove line 190 and 215 (opening and closing comment-delimiters). This will activate experimental (!) code that will send CSP-headers.

If CSP is activated (and if it works) the browser will block everything which is not whitelisted.

FYI; I’m working (well, doing some r&d) to really add CSP (i.e. not an experimental, commented out feature) to wp donottrack in the near future. Pretty sure it’ll stop everything not in the whitelist (except in really old browser that don’t support CSP.
