My website is:

https://magicdroppings.com

After a successful checkout I have the plugin set to redirect to:

https://magicdroppings.com

However, it keeps redirecting to:

https://magicdroppings.com/?charge=ch_17z1W1GFZbGPaUjzxglNqq73&store_name=Magic+Droppings

after every successful checkout and the plugin’s blue buttons disappear from the website. It does this in test mode and live mode. The charges are showing up in Stripe so it is going through, but not redirecting. I’ve tried everything:

Adding a success redirect url
Leaving the success redirect url blank
Adding a failed redirect url
Leaving the failed redirect blank
Updated the success/failed url redirect links to https
Checked and unchecked the “Disable default success page” box
Downgraded all the way to your 1.2.5.1 plugin version
Updated the theme – Onetone
Tried Chrome and Safari
Cleared browser cache
It was not working before or after installing an SSL cert
Added and removed the “success_redirect_url=”https://magicdroppings.com” to the shortcode
I read all the redirect threads here, nothing worked

Here is the shortcode I am using:

[stripe name=”Magic Droppings” description=”Mermaid Poop Body Soap” amount=”2000″ success_redirect_url=”https://magicdroppings.com”%5D%5B/stripe%5D

I looked at the re-direct filter someone posted a long time ago, but I have no idea how to add it.

This is driving me crazy.

Also, if you want to test any of the buttons on the site to see how it does not redirect back to https://magicdroppings.com and to see how the buttons disappear after checkout, you can go ahead and do that. The site is in test mode with the fake Stripe credit card number.

I was able to get it to redirect to a different page after checkout, but the buttons I have on the thank you page are not showing up after checkout. The thank you page is supposed to look like this:

https://magicdroppings.com/thank-you/

Instead, the blue buttons are missing.

Still waiting for someone to give suggestions on how to prevent the Buy Now buttons from vanishing from my website after someone checks out.

Hi there,

By design our plugin removes payment buttons on thank you pages. Most folks just let it redirect to the same page it was on, so it’s ideal for these folks to have the Stripe buttons removed.

However, I see in your case why it would make sense NOT to hide them since you redirect to a custom thank you page. I’ll mark that down as a feature request.
