    I’m trying to test payments using the paypal with braintree plugin. I’ve removed all other plugins and set up the sandbox which seems to be working as it’s not complaining about any connection issues. After I submit the paypal payment the paypal box disappears but i’m not redirected to another URL and the payment is not registered in woocomerce or my sandbox Paypal account. The same page is displayed to me and there are no errors in the console. Any ideas what to try next would be helpful. I’ve made sure my connection details are correct and I’ve removed all my woocommerce template modifications temporarily but this has not fixed it.

    Thanks for writing to us about our plugin! I’m sorry to hear that the PayPal payments are’t working as expected. I am happy to help out here. ??

    It might be that a conflict is responsible for this issue, so I’d like to try to rule out a theme conflict first.

    You mentioned that you had removed your theme modifications, but just to make sure that there are no other conflicts, would you please temporarily switch to a default theme, such as Twenty Nineteen, and let me know if the issue persists? If it does persist, not to worry, I’ll have some other troubleshooting steps for you to follow.

    If swapping themes does resolve the issue, it would appear to be a theme conflict.

    Would you please let me know how the theme switch went?
