not recognizing customization

  • I am new to building websites. I have bought a domain name, hosting package, and premium account for WordPress. I believe I have everything installed properly and am having fun customizing my website. However, when I go to my website, it doesn’t show ANY of the progress I’ve made in customization.

    All it shows is a default wordpress screen. It seems to not be recognizing anything that I’ve done to “make it my own” website.

    I hope all I need to do is click a simple unlock button somewhere. Can someone please help? I feel I’m so close and it’s very frustrating.

  • Hi. Certain themes will show progress other themes need to be manipulated different ways, like through certain plugins you can get. Plugins help a great deal. I was in the same spot.

    What themes WILL show progress? At the risk of sounding like baruqa from willy wonka, I WANT my website up NOW!!! What is the fastest way to get it up and running?

    I’ve been using wordpress.com – do I need to switch to www.remarpro.com?

    This whole thing has turned into a major zit on my arse
