Not receiving the “Click here to reset your password” confirmation link

  • Hello,

    I am testing some of the links on a new site that I am developing, labolsitadecafe.com. When I click Forgot you password? I am sent to a page that asks
    me to enter my current email. On this page the message states: Please enter your username or your email address. You will receive a link to create the new
    password by email. Afterr entering the email I get the following message: Check your email for the confirmation link.

    The problem is that when I check my email I receive the message without the confirmation link to reset the password.

    – I have deactivating ALL plugins temporarilybut that does not resolve the problem.
    – I have also reset the plugins folder by FTP by renaming the folder to break any links from deleted plugins.

    Please help. Any suggestions as to how I may solve the issue?

    Sometimes the IPs of the server might get blacklisted, in which case, the emails might be landing up in your spam folder instead of inbox. Can you try to locate the emails there?

    Hello Gagan,

    You win the award for fastest response on www.remarpro.com. Your questin got me to thinking. It turns out the problem was that I was using YOPmail : Disposable and Free email address to test lost password feature. When I created a user with a real email it worked perfectly.
