• I have been having issues with both of my websites that use this plugin… I am not receiving the customer-submitted forms. I have updated this plugin a while ago, but have not experienced this issue until about four weeks ago. I have discovered that my customers ARE receiving the auto-response email after submitting the form (sometimes in junk mail), however, I am NOT RECEIVING their submitted forms in my email, causing them to manually enter their request in the body of a new email.

My email provider is GoDaddy, and I did configure the SMTP plugin, but to no avail. Am I missing a step?

  • Hi, please read the following troubleshooting solution.

    Thank you

We just began experiencing the same problem yesterday. We have several forms on our site. The newest form was added a few days ago. I tested the form, on the evening of July 11th and it came to the Webmaster and the CC’d email addresses. The next day, I made some text changes to the form, did a test and never received the data. I tested one of our other forms using an off-domain email address in the form and received the confirmation email, but the form data never came to the Webmaster, nor the CC email addresses.

I did several more tests to the Webmaster email address and they didn’t show up in our box until 14-15 hours later. I contacted Blue Host today, our hosting provider about the issue. After the tech investigated the situation, he confirmed that their shared mail proxy servers had been experiencing slowness with sending emails, they were working on it, and it would be rectified within 24 hours.

Less than an hour ago, I tested the new form again and then sent a Test message, using the FS Contact Tools, to the Webmaster address and to an off-domain email address, both of which were received almost immediately, but we still have not received the form data from my test form submission.

While it has not yet been 24 hours, it seems quite odd that the Test using the form Tools are coming through, but the form data is not…

Please advise (I’ve triple checked all of the settings, which have been consistent across all of our forms for quite some time)

    Many thanks!

Hi, did you follow the troubleshooting instructions above? Can you make sure your messages are not landing in your Spam box?
