    Hi,

I have just switched back to using the built in Event Submission form, I stopped using it a while back when I had problems with it and just used a Contact Form to have people submit events.

However I did a couple of test submissions this morning and I didn’t receive any notification of the submission via email.

I have done a couple to Email tests and only one of those came through.

Also I probably should start another ticket for a 2nd problem I have noticed, when I attached an image it continued to say No image uploaded for this event yet, but if I mouse over the Browse Button it tells me what I selected and it shows up when the Event is edited, it is just something people may find a little confusing.

The url for the page is : https://www.hhhworldevents.org/submit-your-hhh-event/

    Kindest regards

I may have jumped the gun a little, after posting the above I took the wife shopping and while waiting for she who must be obeyed I decided to enter an event on my phone, I got email notification almost immediately, I tried again when I got home on my desktop and got the same result.

But there is still the issue with the images, would you prefer I started a different thread for that.

    Hi,

That message can be changed by creating a custom version of this template:

    /events-manager/templates/forms/event/featured-image-public.php

This tutorial explains how to create custom templates that are upgrade-safe:

Ok Thanks, I thought it would change as soon as an image was added
