-
hi, I have setup this gorgeous plugin and it seems work fine enough.
thanks a lot.However, when I tried to add a new ticket, it seems that I don’t receive any notice email at all.
(I have checked the setting, everything seems fine. the email address is correct. and the buddypress email is set ok too, I wonder if these 2 systems ??.. issue? )Is there anyone had similar experience and knowing how to solve this problem?
I appreciate your kind reply.
Best regards,

Hello @jin
Thanks for using our plugin.If we get more details, it’d helpful for us to assist you regarding this.
1. You are adding new ticket from where? Front End (Submit Ticket) or Admin end (Add New Ticket)?
2. Is there any other email you are getting from your site (except our plugin?) – it’ll help us recognize whether your server’s email port is open or not.We’re currently using
wp_mail()
for mailing. It works if the address is valid according to this criteria.We’ve tested report using
@gmail
and@yahoo
.
https://prntscr.com/bwruenWe’re marking the issue as Resolved because it appeared Too Localized as of now.
mmm
it seems what I posted with images failed…
I will come back hours later to add information requested.thanks for your reminding email.
hi.. I noticed that I have replied you through email.
let me paste them to here.
please advise. thanks————-
Hi, thanks for your prompt reply.1. Yes, I tried to add from the front-end. please refer to: https://awesomescreenshot.com/0f261k5n6c , at https://www.forum.enihongo.org, which is a sub website of a multisite: https://www.enihongo.org
I just tried to submit tickets from the https://www.enihongo.org site again.. https://awesomescreenshot.com/0d761k5z7d
The result is same as previous sub-site.
The nominated email address has been confirmed working well.2. I have installed Mymail, but not yet set up.
I also have buddypress email. yet, well. I never used before.
By the way, the domain is using the google email system from a long time ago.I am not sure if I need to add web MX record for this purpose or not ? … seems not likely to me..
Well, please advise further.
Best regards,
Nice to have all those information.
The nominated email address has been confirmed working well.
I think you are trying to say that it’s working in other areas, but not with this plugin. ??
- Though a user @ganisirawan tested the plugin in Multisite and reported as a working copy, but we’re afraid, officially we’re not declaring the plugin for multisite just now. And when we’re saying Submitting Ticket from Front End, we’re actually meaning Submitting Ticket using the
/submit-ticket
page. - We never tried using with MyMail, so we cannot help you on this. But it would be helpful for us, if you try any WordPress plugin that sends mail, and works for you, better be WooCommerce. You can simply install it, configure the email feature, and can register an account using WooCommerce. If an email sends to you, then the problem is in our plugin. But if it’s not sending, the problem is somewhere else, whether in the mail system or somewhere…
Hi, Mayeenul,
Thanks a lot.
Yes, I meant the email had no problem in using. .
(by the way, I don’t use host server’s email system till now, I use gmail system only)1. in the multisite website, it seems to me that all things work fine, just the email system is not sending me the notice.
and, Yes, I did use the submit-ticket page, like this: https://awesomescreenshot.com/0f762555562. Following suggestion from the hosting company’s senior engineer, I have added a WP-Mail-SMTP plugin, and have confirmed it did sending email to me correctly.
Now, the email is working in my website, but, I still haven’t got notice mail from your plugin.Therefore, it seems the problem might be in your plugin, … could you help to solve this out, please?
Thanks in advance.
PS: I am going to translate your plugin into both Taiwan Mandarine and Japanese soon.
Thereafter, I will translate it into Vietnam and so on.., if it works fine with me.Thanks in advance for your interest in translating our plugin. That would be awesome, for sure!
BTW, we’ve plan to incorporate SMTP in any future release so that you can use SMTP for Gmail etc. aside the
wp_mail()
.We’re using host server’s email system, actually the
wp_mail()
works based on the host server emailing.… it seems the problem might be in your plugin, … could you help to solve this out, please?
We will surely gonna assist you, because if any bug exists into the plugin, it should be fixed for a wide variety of users.
But to concentrate on fixing the existing system, can you do me a favor (it would be great for us and highly appreciated):
Can you please install WooCommerce, configure the email thing (if necessary, but not using SMTP), and then try to register as a new user with a valid email. If the email can pass through, please let us know. If not, please inform us too. It’ll help us pointing to right place for debugging.PS. Anyway, have you checked the spam folder?
@jkin pardon me. Can I remind you about this ticket one more time?
We need a little bit assistance from you. It’d be very helpful if you can provide us the information.
Thank you.hi
I am glad to be able to help.
I have installed woocommerce originally already. (I plan to use it in the future)however, I also have installed S2member pro for other purpose.
Therefore, I am not sure how to register by the woocommerce.I also plan to use MyMail with MyMail Mandrill in the future. (The gmail only offer up to 500 mails per day. this will be not enough for me )
Could you try at your side for me please?
this multisite is still under construction, although near to be completed soon.
I could offer you the admin account, if you let me know how to offer such credential data.Best regards,
Oo oo oo! You’ve a complex architecture! It’d be messy testing a plugin within too many of them.
— TEST RESULT —
We’ve tested the plugin in one of our multisite. Though
version 0.1.1
doesn’t support WordPress Multisite.
Installed the plugin, but NOT network activated, because we din’t added Network-specific activation actions.Activated the plugin in the base Site of the multisite (tuts.nanodesignsbd.com) then activated on that site only. Everything set up. Added new ticket from front end with registration. The email is sent to both the Support Seeker and Manager.
Site 1 of Multisite: Email is working.Activated the plugin in the subfolder-based second Site of the multisite (tuts.nanodesignsbd.com/en) then activated on that site only. Everything set up. Changed the Manager email now to something different then admin for a better test result. Added new ticket from front end with registration. The email is sent to both the Support Seeker and Manager.
Site 2 of Multisite: Email is working.— LIVE TEST —
Anyway, ensuring a proper backup, you can pass a credential for us to test the plugin in your environment using the following email:
support [at] nanodesignsbd [dot] com
BTW we cannot guarantee, because the plugin is not yet ready for multisite, and you’ve many email-specific add-ons there, how come we decide which one is causing the issue?
