Not receiving new user notification

Detail exactly what steps you followed into setting this up, I’ll check back your steps followed and see if I can replicate the issue.

This is what I followed except I did not set up STMP I instead entered SendGrid API ID

What version of the Ultimate member you have installed on your site?
Do you receive other emails or WordPress notifications?
Please check Ultimate member -> Settings -> Emails section and make sure that emails enabled there.
