Not receiving new comment notifications, Akismet could be causing it?

    Hi Ivan,

    Do you have access to your servers mailserver logs to check and see if the messages are even being sent? If you don’t, or are unsure, your webhost should be able to help you our with that.

    Same here. I was getting 40 or 50 comments a day, most, but not all, of them spam. Since installing Akismet, not one single comment has come through. I set it up so I would get notifications of spam so I can monitor them, but nothing has come through, even though the number of blocked spam has gone up somewhat.

    What concerns me most is that I’m not getting ANY comments to monitor. I like not having so many to review every day, but it sure seems suspicious that I’m not getting any at all and it started exactly when I installed.
    ‘m ready to post another blog, but am concerned that actual commenters are not getting their voices heard. What can I do? I have no idea about servers. I get WordPress through GoDaddy.
