Not receiving messages sent through contact form

  • Hi,

    I have noticed today that i’m not receiving mails that are sent through the contact form(7) on my website on my yahoo mail.It does go,however,to my gmail.
    I have tried everything incl. other cont. forms(ninja eg.),adjusting settings and so on.I have no idea what the problem is; the submit message does say that it is sent succecfully & if i try to e-mail myself form my gmail to my yahoo i get my own mail in under a minute,whereas it takes 6 minutes for the cont. form to send the message to my gmail. I don’t get anything on my yahoo mail sent through the form.

    Solutions anyone?

    I’ve had issues receiving CF7 submissions when the user is using a Yahoo address. That’s the opposite of your issue, but there might be some tips you can find here: https://kb.cf7skins.com/yahoo-dmarc-issue/ (this solution worked for receiving when user has a yahoo email).

    I would suggest that you try the steps in the first link to see if that gets around the DMARC issue with Yahoo. The problem is on Yahoo’s end and not the plugin (since it does work on gmail)

    Thanks, but it unfortunately didn’t help.
    I get a mail sometimes on my yahoo & other times nothing.
    I do receive everything on my gmail…guess it’ll have to do until this is solved.

    Contact form 7 just stops working sometimes.

    And by that I don’t mean for short periods, I mean it just stops working and that is it.

    I have changed over to Fast Secure Contact Form. Once you familiarise yourself with the options available it is easy and much better imo.

    Contact form 7 seems easier to set up but I have had to change forms on my site as well as a friends because it just stops working one day even if you have done no other work on your site.

    I’m with hostgator and my friend is with blu host.

    I’ve found a great alternative for yahoo users!

    You can ad another mailbox to sync with your existing yahoo mailbox in settings-accounts-add another mailbox; this way you’ll be able to follow all added other inboxes/mail from your yahoo mail out. ??
