• Hi,

I’m trying to use/test the free version in order to buy the entreprise version. But after filling everything correctly, and after clicking on the send button, i have the message that the form has been completed, but I don’t receive anything.

Maybe it is because my mail is a Gmail address ?

Is there something to set up to attach the pdf to the mail and sending it ?

In the “E-mail” section on contactform7 do I need to fill in the “file attachments” with something ? [your-file] ??

    Best,

The plugin automatically adds a tag to the file attachments section.

Do you receive an email with a plain contact form (one without any attachments)? If no then the message might be going to your spam folder or your hosting provider’s email configuration may be broken.

If you get plain messages but not ones with the PDF attached, the problem may be with a file size limit on a mail server or something else. It is hard to say without looking at your logs.

Hi, thank you for your answer.

I haven’t receive any mail, and I’ve tried both on a gmail and an other mail service.

Where can I find the logs for this plugin ?

This plugin doesn’t send email messages. The Contact From 7 plugin is the one that initiates the email message. In this case, I don’t think either is the problem. You probably should contact your hosting provider. They might be blocking outgoing mail.

The problem isn’t coming from the hosting provider because I’ve just made a test with an other form that I configured. I receive the mail almost instantly vs I don’t receive anything from the form + your plugin. So I guess the problem comes from the plugin. Also on the config page it’s saying that the Enterprise version can work with my hosting provider. I guess it should work, I may have incorrect settings, but I followed every instructions

Maybe the hosting provider is blocking emails with attachments, or attachments above a certain size.

The enterprise extension is a separate plugin that you probably don’t have installed. It doesn’t affect you in any way.

When you submit the contact form, do you get any errors? Or does it show you the submission was successful?

I can debug the issue for you if you don’t mind sending me a temporary wp-admin login to admin at maximum dot software.

I guess we didn’t get to the bottom of this issue, but I have a feeling it has something to do with a plugin conflict, possibly with Contact Form 7 Multi-Step.
