• Hi,

Under Settings > Notification Center, I have enabled Daily Security Digest and Site Lockout Notification.

    1. I am NOT receiving the emails: Daily Security Digest
    that are supposedly sent (daily)
“Last sent on January 24, 2018 10:52 am”
    in my gmail account.

    2. I am also getting the error:
Error while sending Site Lockouts notification at (date / time): Could not instantiate mail function.

Oddly, a different plugin that I recently installed, has no problem sending emails to my gmail address:
    from: [email protected] via mywebhost
    to: my gmail account
    mailed-by: mywebhost
(all through wordpress, like iThemes should)

I do use Mailgun separately for my contact forms, but I don’t think it has anything to do with iThemes emails (or the other plugin that is able to email me just fine via wordpress as mentioned above)

I opened a ticket with my web hosting company, but with the little info I can give them, i.e. don’t see anything in the iThemes logs or no other data to show them, they haven’t been able to help.

Help!!! Probably not good that I am not receiving iThemes warning / status emails!!!!

    Thanks a lot ??

  • SNAP! I now have the same issue – does anyone have an answer?
The notification maill is NOT the same domain as the site is. This is NOT an issue with other sites, same setting mail and they send notifications just fine.

I am having the same problem.

Me too. Since mid February I no longer receive the daily security digest. However I still receive the commercial mails sent by ithemes, so my mail address is not the problem.

I have joined the gang! Anyone been able to solve it yet?
