This is a heads-up for others with similar form email problems here….
First, I donated last Tuesday and filled out a premium ticket. Have not heard from the plugin author in 6 days….so in the meantime I ran a couple of experiments that someone may know what is going on.
The email addresses in the contact forms on my client’s website were changed to a gmail account and EVERYTHING works as it should. This seems at this point to be a problem with Microsoft Mail (Outlook) which is the only domain email system Godaddy offers these days. 99% of the contact form email was not getting through that system. As I said, when it was changed to a gmail account everything works just fine. Even had someone who uses Outlook sign up in the contact form and they got the form’s automated response via their MS mail.
At this point it seems that Microsoft mail (Outlook) does not like or allow form email being sent to its own domain email.
Does this provide a clue for anyone who might be in the know about this email system?
Many thanks if anyone knows if there is a parameter or setting that needs to be changed in Microsoft email.
