    I’m trying to figure out why my Ultimate Member is no longer sending registration messages.

    I’ve reset my API keys and have updated DNS settings at the host… emails are coming in related to a form elsewhere in the website and on that basis I’m assuming that my WP Mail SMTP is configured correctly.

    No emails are received when a new user requests access (UM is set for default users to be ‘subscriber’ which requires admin). When a user is approved via the dashboard, they’re not receiving a welcome email which they should.

    If I select a user and send a password reset, that message goes out.

    I’ve tried disabling every other Plugin with no success and have since rolled back to the last backup.

    Please help – this is driving me nuts!

    On a closer look, the email that is received from a password reset doesn’t match the form in UM.

    Can you please check if you have enabled related email on “wp-admin > ultimate member > settings > email” ?

    Yes all of the relevant emails are set on.

    If I send a ‘test’ message from UM, that comes through just fine… it’s just the messages to admin that aren’t being received and then account activation confirmation etc not going back after request for membership is approved.

    I’m had this problem too, but only with the initial registration, that leads to the state of “Waiting e-mail confirmation” – in other words, all new registrants are not receiving the email that allows them to confirm their email address.

    “Account Activation Email”?is checked, with the subject line ‘Please activate your account’ – and default copy.

    Using UltimateMember 2.7.0

    server email facility was tested / validated via “Check & Log Email” plugin.

    While fixed the problem by turning “Account Activation Email” off and then on again, it is not funny that the checkboxes appear to say one thing but are wrong.

    Hello @davidghancock

    Can you please turn off the emails you are having issues with and turn them back on again as konchog suggested and see if that solves the issue?
