Not receiving comment emails

I am not receiving email notification of comments left on my blog.

Now, I must explain that my main site is hosted at Fotomerchant, whereas the blog is set up as a sub domain and hosted on another server. Consequently my email address is set up as a separate hosted option through the domain registry.

Looking at plugin options and other things just don’t appear to be working, no idea what I can do to receive emailed comments. Hoping someone might have a similar set up and know what would work. Thank you.
