    Hello,

Once Honey pot installed and activated, and the tag added in the contact form (and saved of course), mails just doesn’t come anymore, never. I tried several times, but the whole contact form doesn’t work anymore when Honey pot is activated. When clicking on the send button, the contact form return me the message that “Your message have been sent”, though.

When I desactivate Honey pot, then the mails comes without problems.

What could be the problem? I’m a bit fed up with spams… My WordPress is updated, and I installed the latest version of your plugin (1.6.2).

    Thank you.

    Someone at Honeypot…?

    At Honeypot? ?? I suppose that’s me.

I’ll look into it as soon as I’m able, but until then, if it’s definitely the honeypot plugin causing the issue, I’d recommend disabling Honeypot.

Also, have you checked your PHP logs? Are there any errors showing in there?

    No PHP errors…

Hi Roberto, I can’t seem to reproduce the issue on a number of different test sites.

You mentioned you’re using the most up to date version of CF7:Honeypot and WordPress. Are you also up-to-date with CF7?

Outside of that, I can only recommend that you disable all other plugins on the site and test to make sure there are no conflicts. I can’t imagine how there would be, as CF7:Honeypot doesn’t interact with anything other than CF7.

Yes, CF7 is updated (Version 4.1.1).

Interesting. I too am having a failure to deliver messages but only if my message field is large. For example, if I just enter ‘testing’ I receive an email. If I type out a basic single paragraph it does not. Any ideas?

Seems to be working now. Just re-saved the form. Dunno what happened. Using the latest versions of wp, cf7, and honeypot plugin. Forgot to say THANKS for the great plugin! Hopefully this helps reduce the spam.

Odd. I don’t believe anything in Honeypot is stored in the DB, and it’s all processed at run-time, so can’t think of why resaving would fix this, but glad it did! ?? Let me know if you notice any other problems.
