Not Receiving Admin Email Change

    When trying to change the admin email address in the settings I entered the email address of the new admin. The confirmation email didn’t seem to arrive at my email provider Proton’s server. Can you please provide the following technical details:
    ?
    – Date: (Date/Time of the new admin email confirmation)
    – Sender Address: [email info removed by the moderator in accordance with the Forum Guidelines]
    – Recipient Address: (WordPress Support can confirm if you entered the correct address on their system)
    – Message-ID: (The Message-ID of the new email confirmation)
    – SMTP response: (If the email was successfully delivered to Proton, WordPress should have received Proton’s response)
    ?

    I have been troubleshooting with Proton and the above was requested.

    Do you get ALL other emails?

    On the initial admin email yes, but now when I tried to change the email address to the proton one.. that confirmation email never arrived. I tried it twice and still nothing.

    That indicates issue with proton.

    In that case, can you please provide the info in the first post? that will help to address or at least further troubleshoot.

    I have tested this again on another WordPress account, and the same outcome is occurring this time using a Gmail email. I submit the request to change the admin email, save, and am greeted with “There is a pending change of the admin email to XXX”

    However, that email confirmation never arrives. Is there a solution to this issue I can implement?
