    Hi,

Using woocommerce and was really hoping this plugin can help. But sadly, it does not seem to …

First, it populates the widget with some “Tags” dropdown, tags I do not have (did click the “exclude” option in the settings and have no product tags set whatsoever) and secondly, it does not appear to be capable of combining 2 filter criterias. If I choose in the settings “product categories” and one extra taxonomy I have created for the products, the result of the filtering is always a 404 error.

    Any ideas?

    Thx

    Hi Candy and jdev.

I’m sorry. This plugin is not compatible with woocommerce as they use custom rewrite rules and different structures than regular archives.

There are already dedicated filtering add-ons for woocommerce that you can use instead that are more specialised for a e-shop. That’s the main reason I’ve not added support for WooCommerce.. it’s quite a bit of work when really there are more featured alternatives already.

    Ok thanks.

I wish you’d reconsider not supporting WooCommerce. Agreeably there are a lot of “filter” plugins and some very nice. But only 1 other creates URL’s like you’re plugin does. Most are AJAX and there isn’t a URI to link too externally. And SEO aspects of that are rough too.

    2Cents.

    Hi Cmisak,

Thanks for your two cents. I do have WooCommerce support on my todo list but it’s not a priority and might be part of a PRO version of this plugin.

The main issue is time.. I have two jobs and run a company on the side so these hobby projects don’t get as much time as I want them to!
