• This plugin and service sounds like it could be pretty cool, but unfortunately it’s not ready for production environments yet. The plugin does not support custom wp-content directory locations and the way the rewrites work is fragile at best.

Hopefully they’re able to improve the plugin because the service looks pretty interesting!

    Hey Robert,

I am glad you liked the service. Though for most of our current customers using WordPress, this plugin is working fine, but we will address these concerns in next release.

Will provide an option to include custom wp-content directory locations. At the same time handle corner cases in rewrites. Will also add support for srcset.

Thanks for taking the time out to write feedback.

Just released a new version 2.0.3 with above-mentioned fixes.

Now you can control which file types to be loaded via ImageKit. Include custom content directory locations and even restrict files that you want to load directly from your web server.

The way URL rewrite happens is similar to W3 Total Cache. And now with even more settings to control the behavior, I think this plugin is ready to be used on production websites like many of other customers.

    Please share your feedback.
