I am the author of a five star review for this plug-in but now it does not seem to work quite as well. I’m finding that after installing the plug-in I then have to manually amend every image from http to https which when there are perhaps 100 images can be quite a hassle. Am I missing something here?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

WordPress has a few flaws, one of which is that it hard-codes image URLs in the post object content. :-/ I’ve updated the plugin with a new content filter to update upload folder URLs in the post object content automatically – that should fix your pre-existing image URL issue. ??

Sadly, I can’t say I understand all of the answer too well but I translate it to say next time I use the plug-in, it will make the changes without manual intervention which will be perfect. I will update this comment in due course and thank you for the really prompt response.

I’ve just tried it again, following the latest update, and once again it works perfectly. I can’t understand how 700+ people have downloaded this masterpiece and at the time of writing this comment only three have bothered to comment and say thank you for what is free.

Thank you JSM – this is such a timesaver.
