I am getting the following error message for both Instagram and Facebook when up until this week, they had been working beautifully: “Invalid Parameter”?

I have a separate website giving a different error. Is this an issue with META systems? As stated, this only started happening this week and the error messages are confusing. Thanks for help!

    Hi @tzhben

Sorry to hear about the issues.

For the first error about the invalid parameter, we would really need to see a screenshot of the recipe with all details expanded (including tokens) and details about what you’re passing in to the action. Perhaps some of the data isn’t valid or populated when you need it.

For the second one, it is Facebook responding with that error, not us. I would check permissions again on the Facebook side, then disconnect and reconnect the account in Automator. Hopefully that fixes things, but let us know if it doesn’t.

Thanks for your help! I think I have this situated. Had to do a lot of digging in Facebook Business to find the integration. Either way, would it be safe to assume that with a valid Facebook connection that it would solve the same error coming from Instagram? I don’t make another push until Monday, but I will report back. Thanks again!

@uncannyautomator thanks for the tip! Disconnecting from FB then checking permissions, then re-connecting solved the issue for me. Many thanks!
