Not pushing down page in IE9

    Hi

    I’ve had a look at previous posts on IE support (clients wishes unfortunately!) but I haven’t found the solution to this. I have a page with boxes which I want to be able to push down for more content.

    The plugin works fine in modern browsers but in IE9 the content appears without expanding (it just comes down as text under the content beneath). Any help is welcome.

    can you post a link to your page?
    we’ll be lighting up some IE test boxes this weekend and will see what we can do with this issue.

    Hello,

    After much effort, we have tested your page the following IE versions:
    IE 11 – works
    IE 10 – works
    IE 9 – yup, it gets wonky.

    We might look into the why of this, but honestly, IE 9 is five years old, and the problem clearly is due to IE non-standard ideas of what standards are.

    If this MUST be fixed for IE 9, we recommend you purchase Collapse-Pro-Matic and we’ll break out the Bourbon and wallow a bit in the what-makes-IE-so-special stuff…

    if not, tell your clients, browsers, like bedsheets and underwear, need to be updated every few years. Sorry, but for a free plugin, we have gone as far as we can on this support issue.

    P.S. Not a fan of IE… not by a long shot.

    Thanks so much, I really appreciate that. Completely agree, IE is not ideal at all.
